  • Coronet’s sales model is a based on a freemium/premium sales model with a twist: they offer their customers free detection, while for mitigation they are required to pay.
  • As a result, Coronet have 30% conversion from MQL to freemium customer. At that time their proprietary AI machine, which is tailored to automatically identify a cluster of security events that will result a successful conversion kicks in and enable us to convert in 23%(!).
  • The sales machine is built on three strong pillars: outbound SDR team, their proprietary AI engine and extremely effective AEs.
  • Coronet are looking to grow the operation and double our teams in 2021, on top of adding multiple sources of leads: online demand-gen, partners and MSPs.

About the role

  • Leveraging their freemium offering, develop the strategy and programs that support aggressive growth objectives. Define KPIs and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Design, test and optimize new programs on a monthly/quarterly basis to find new ways to raise awareness among IT Directors, CISOs and Security managers and get them excited about trying the Coronet security platform
  • Employ best practices to achieve growth goals while also experimenting with creative strategies and less-proven tactics
  • Design workflows that quickly identify and scale successful approaches
  • Manage, operational expense budget and associated vendor relationships
  • Meet and exceed new ARR Booking Quota
  • Present a detailed and accurate forecast of the business
  • Create and execute a sales plan with core internal teams SDR Team, Executive Team, BD Team
  • Build the US Sales Team
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
  • Pinpoint ways to penetrate new markets.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.

About you

  • At least 10 years of sales rep and sales leadership experience
  • Need to have managed managers and multiple direct sales teams
  • Need to have both Tech and Cyber experience (ideally they will come from a Chicago based Cyber competitor of ours)
  • Need to have SMB/Mid-Market experience
  • Need to have a very intense Sense of Purpose and Urgency
  • Need to have a very dynamic, charismatic personality

  • Reporting to the CRO, managing and mentoring 5 Sales Directors (who in turn manage a team of AEs) initially – this will double in the next year!
